The LeapPad 2 Power includes 9 apps and is also a great deal and typically runs about $15.00 more than the LeapPad 2. When you combine all that, LeapPad 2 is a great deal right out of the box!

LeapPad 2 is a little more expensive than other similar devices for kids but the ‘extras’ cost less. The LeapPad 2 comes with five fun apps for kids to play, create and sing-along with in addition to a free download of any popular app you choose. They can take pictures and videos, then use what they film to have lots more creative fun. Kids from 3 to 9 years old get so engrossed in the games and creativity center that they are learning even when they think they’re only playing games. The LeapPad 2 earns a rating of 4.25 out of 5. If you are looking for peer to peer play, I suggest you look at the LeapFrog Ultra Tablet. Neither of these tablets has the peer to peer play. The LeapPad 2 Power includes both the rechargeable battery pack and includes 9 apps. The LeapPad 2 does NOT have the rechargeable battery pack included and only includes 5 apps.
